“The other test drive” – an interactive cinema ad for MINI Clubman 2008

In July 2008 Mini launched an advertising campaign of a very special kind which set standards throughout Germany.

What is an interactive test drive? An infrared camera records the movements of the viewers. The movement sum of all participants is then established in real time and transferred onto the road performance of the MINI. This makes the speedy journey not only an emotional but also a physical experience.

The interactive cinema ad was one of three communications measures which the Interone agency developed for the launch of the MINI Clubman and won the following awards:
