SAP virtual sightseeing media façade
The Virtual Sightseeing media art project invited passers-by to go on a virtual journey to the most important and interesting sights in Berlin.
On four screens along the Rosenthalerstraße, in central Berlin, passers-by were able to see moving image collages generated in real time in which their images merged with images of famous Berlin sights as well as with information about these areas. Observers can choose where their virtual journey should lead to using a menu at the top of the image and arm movements.
Full surface video projections inside the transparent building give the SAP offices different identities. By touching the pulse monitor, to the left by the door, observers can change their location.
